Canoeing
is a must on the Dordogne River. The river is very
safe as it’s shallow and crystal clear. In the
summer we escort or arrange for our guests to go canoeing.
Occasionally we’ve had someone that is slightly apprehensive as
they’ve never canoed before or they don’t like water but once they've done it they are thrilled as they’ve been able to see Chateaux
and marvel at the stunning scenery and villages along the river
bank and then, they couldn’t wait to go the following week –
testament to the fact that this is a great family day out.
