This region of France has a rich history with the famous caves of Lascaux and Les Eyzies.  The wonderful caves of La Roque St-Christophe, Font de Gaume and Grotte du Grand Roc can be found at Les Eyzies, which is only a 20 minute drive from us.  Here you will discover the home of Cro Magnon Man and see original cave drawings. 

     There has been talk of making replicas of some of these caves, just like Lascaux, so a visit to Les Eyzies is a must before some of the caves get closed off to the public and then you'll only be able to marvel at a copy.
